La scienza dei materiali a scuola: un’azione didattica in collaborazione tra scuola e università

The paper describes a didactic unit born of a collaboration between a University Materials Science Laboratory and a secondary school in the frame of a project for vocational guidance and dissemination of scientific culture. The aims, the schedule, the organization into phases, the experiments and other activities are reported. A brief illustration of the contents and the details of the epistemological processes at the basis of the entire work are elucidated. The two-year experimentation of the unit is analyzed.
